The force is happy to be home to Madison County's NEW  Ballet Academy! The Ballet Academy offers creative movement starting at age 2  and ballet, pre pointe|pointe instruction for every level from beginner through pre-professional. Students can stretch their imaginations, learn self-expression, nurture their skill and artistry, and reach their ballet goals through our programs. Faculty members teach a challenging, engaging curriculum designed to inspire and transform students—inside and out.

ABOUT

Welcome to the The Ballet Academy , based in Richmond Kentucky. We are home to Richmond’s only Ballet Academy. At BA we study and perform both classical ballets and contemporary/modern dance concerts. Sharing a space & love for the arts with The Force Dance Academy at the Force Athletics facility located in Richmond.

The reason for entering the studio may differ, but all students leave standing a little taller with more poise, discipline, and determination. Whether you are new to dance or aspire to a professional career, The Ballet Academy will take you where you want to go—and where you never knew you could. MISSION

The Ballet Academy provides classical ballet and modern/contemporary dance training. The Ballet Academy guides and instills students with the life skills of self-discipline and self-confidence through training and performance opportunities. The Ballet Academy offers comprehensive dance training for beginners through pre professionals. Led by accomplished faculty in an environment that encourages professional and personal success. The Ballet Academy is dedicated to human development, inclusivity, and excellence in dance through the fundamental foundation of classical ballet, where all students discover and develop an admiration for dance. Our training is designed to nurture students’ physical and emotional well-being, build their technical skills, and develop their artistry. The Ballet Academy Is home for a quality ballet education.

Enrollment

Open to the dance community , all studio and dance affiliations welcome. The Ballet Academy is training & performance based. Not Competitive.

STUDIO WIDE DRESS CODE POLICIES

No jewelry except smaller earrings and studs. 

Any colored leotard may be worn on Saturdays. 

Hair must be secure enough that it will not fall out during class. 

Black fitted warmups may be worn on cold days. 

Only water is allowed in the studio in a bottle with a secure, no spill top.

No outside shoes allowed in the studio. 

Ballet Academy Dresscode

Girls:

The BA official leotard, pink convertible tights, pink ballet shoes. Hair in a clean bun. 

Ballet skirts may be worn in pointe classes and rehearsals. 

Boys: 

Black or white leotard or fitted BA official shirt. Black tights. White socks. White ballet shoes.
